4000 SERIES FOLDING-LEG TABLE

TOP: Will be a solid core of 3/4" particle board, and will have a high-pressure laminated plastic surface of 3 core face plastic and backer sheet. The edge banding will be of black vinyl plastic of oval design with a smooth face. The tongue of the edge banding will be spot nailed from the bottom to prevent the band from pulling away from the core material. APRON: Will be of 16-gauge steel and will have pleasing corner radius. Attached to the top with not less than 20 Phillips head screws. LEGS: Legs at each end will be formed of one continuous tube of 1-1/8" diameter, 18-gauge carbon steel. Each leg will be gracefully tapered from 1 1/8" to 5/8" diameter at the floor line. The legs will be reinforced with a 1", 18-gauge tube cross member laced not more than 9" from the top tubular member. Adjustable height legs where specified will be furnished with 18-gauge chrome plated adjustable leg insert utilizing a plated locking adjustment bolt adjustment in 1" increments.

FOLDING ARM: Will be of single rocker arm design made of 3/16" flat steel riveted together by a solid metal rivet. A washer will be placed between the arms to assure ease of folding. The folding arm will be positively attached to the top by a die formed plate using five #12 sheet metal screws. A tube section will be placed on the rocker arm, and will automatically fall into place to eliminate accidental fold-up when in use. METAL FINISH: All metals will be thoroughly cleaned and prepared with a phosphate coating, then electrostatically sprayed with Powder Coat Epoxy finish, then baked. GLIDES: Will be 1-1/4" diameter, rubber cushioned and fully nickel plated with an outside gripper ring which will positively secure the glide to the outside of the leg and must automatically adjust 1/8" for uneven floors. Nylon base (Steel optional). 

ADJUSTABLE HEIGHTS: 22" through 29" in 1" increments. 

FIXED HEIGHT: 29" only.
